Add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or Clarity

Last updated

To add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity in Locally 360, open Search and security, tick the tool under Integrations, paste its ID and press Save integrations. A cookie banner then asks your visitors before the tool loads.

Steps

  1. In the sidebar, open Search and security.
  2. Under Integrations, tick Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity.
  3. Paste the Measurement ID, Pixel ID or Project ID from that tool’s own site.
  4. Press Save integrations.
  5. Under Cookie banner, choose Ask first or Do not ask. With Ask first, nothing loads until a visitor accepts. With Do not ask, there’s no banner, and whether you may do that depends on the rules where your visitors are.
  6. Optional: change the banner’s wording, fill in Link to your privacy policy, and choose Bottom of the page or Top of the page. Press Save cookie banner.
  7. Publish your site from the editor. The changes go live on your next publish.

What happens next

The cookie banner shows only while a tool is on. With Ask first, each tool loads only after a visitor accepts that kind of cookie.

Questions

Do I need Google Analytics to see my visits?

No. Your monthly report already shows page views, counted by Locally 360 with no cookies. Another analytics tool may show a different number.

Does Locally 360 add a privacy policy?

No. Locally 360 doesn't add legal pages. If you have a privacy policy, add it as a page and link it from the cookie banner.
