To take card payments on Locally 360 invoices, open Invoices, then Settings, and press Set up a new Stripe account under Card payments. You finish Stripe’s own pages. Payments go into your own Stripe account, at Stripe’s standard pricing.
Before you start
Stripe asks for your identity, your bank details and your agreement to Stripe’s terms. Have them to hand.
Steps
- In the sidebar, open Invoices, then press Settings.
- Under Card payments, press Set up a new Stripe account.
- Finish Stripe’s pages. If you stop partway, come back and press Continue setup.
- Back on Invoice settings, the card shows Being reviewed, then On.
What happens next
Your customers can pay their invoices by card. Every invoice link gets a Pay button, including ones you’ve already sent. The money goes to your Stripe account, and from there to your bank on Stripe’s usual payout schedule.
If something goes wrong
If the card says payouts to your bank are not switched on yet, you can still take payments. Stripe holds them until you finish your bank details in your Stripe dashboard.
